Who we are

We agree with Charlie Munger and believe that “Wise people do not whine about problems. They prevent them.”

Like Charlie Munger and many others, we believe in seeing things through the lense of history, because human nature does not change that much, and therefore things tend to repeat themselves. Valuable lessons tend to be forgotten.

There is perhaps more glory and headlines for those that stand in the front line and save the day when catastrophe hits, quench a fire or fight a war, but avoiding disaster in the first place may represent better return on investment.

We believe in applying a broad basis of knowledge, including history in a wide sense, combined with meticulous attention to detail. It is not about being indecisive or over-cautious. It is not about not taking risks. It is about doing it wisely.

Founded in 2013, Panchrestus AS has worked with a number of companies around the world, both start-ups/scale-ups and large corporations, offering management-for-hire, consulting services, advisory and board participation, often in combination with some level of investment.
